Speech and Language Therapy for Post 16 pupils is aimed at supporting their development of functional skills and independence.
This includes small group therapy in the form of a weekly discussion group, Speech and Language Therapist input integrated into the WorkSkills BTEC, and support on site at each student’s college to monitor their progress on an ongoing basis. Pupils have access to individual input from a Speech and Language Therapist as needed. The Speech and Language Therapy Team also work with college teaching staff to provide advice and training to support the children further.
"Pupils make outstanding progress from their starting points, across subjects and year groups. High-quality teaching and a strong focus on pupils’ well-being ensures that pupils’ progress is consistently strong"
